Today and for many days to come, we mourn the loss of Madhu Thibaudeau. Many of you knew Madhu as our Resource Coordinator, past HCAS Board Member, indefatigable volunteer and ray on sunshine. She passed away at home on Wednesday. The outpouring of love and concern has been tremendous. Read below for a message from her husband, Roger, regarding arrangements and suggestions on support. Please keep their family in your thoughts and prayers.
“Thank you to all who have reached out with their condolences as we deal with Madhu’s sudden passing. For those that have asked, we will be having a visitation this Saturday 3/23 from 3p-6p at Witzke Funeral Home at 5555 Twin Knolls Rd, Columbia MD. As part of that, we will also have a short service that will start around 5:15 or 5:30pm.
Since some have been asking, in lieu of flowers, anyone interested in making a contribution in her honor are encouraged to do so to the Howard County Autism Society or the National Kidney Foundation
Madhu has touched so many lives, literally all across the country. And we realize many who would love to pay their respects to the family can’t make it on that short of notice. So in a few weeks, following her cremation, we will hold a celebration of life for her as well to provide another opportunity. I will provide that information once we have ironed it out.
Please keep Roger and Ryan, and Madhu’s parents, in your thoughts as they deal with Madhu’s loss.
