The Georgetown University Center for Child and Human Development has, since its inception, served, supported and partnered with children and youth with special health care needs and
developmental disabilities and their families. An array of programs and projects of the Center address services, systems and
policies related to these populations. In addition, the Center has produced numerous products and publications that address topics related to developmental disabilities and special health care needs
Kennedy Krieger InstituteThe Kennedy Kreiger Institute is Maryland’s University Center of Excellence in Developmental Disabilities. The Institute includes the Center
for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD) which does research, diagnoses children, and provides medical and therapeutic assistance to families of children with autism.
